Summary: R Street engages in policy work to solve often-under addressed social issues. The recipient of a Madison Initiative Grant, they have used the support to sponsor their Governance Project, which aims to bolster the processes of U.S. democracy and institutions, namely the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, in the face of growing political polarization. The organization also runs an Election Security Initiative to help build capacity for state and federal efforts to share information about threats to elections.
