Summary: Through its Journalism Trust Initiative (in partnership with Agence France Presse, the European Broadcasting Union, and the Global Editors Network), Reporters without Borders (RSF) is developing a set of trust and transparency standards for journalism outlets with input from stakeholders in media, policy, technology, and academia. RSF also gathered an International Commission on Information & Democracy in 2018 and is working to implement the principles outlined in the resulting International Declaration on Information & Democracy that support Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and efforts to protect freedom of expression online.
